The common thread to the post-everthing movement is that there is a before that can be erased. This is the big lie. There is no before; there are only constants. If we collectively decide to ignore the post-everything propaganda/marketing we can settle back into the constants:

Humanity
Reality
It is imperative that we all ignore the buzzwords, refuse to take the bait and fall in the trap of a post-everything dystopia. The world is still there, behind the ridiculous, meaningless algorithms. It’s in the notepad in your back pocket, the tea leaves stuck in your teeth, the look your dog gives you when you haven’t walked it in a few hours. It’s the ‘old world’ and the ‘old internet’ and the ‘old friends’ you’ve ignored. Make a concerted effort to look for the constants, digging through the strata of shit to find the diamonds you used to care for. You’ll find them. You’ll wash your hands. You’ll be happy. You’ll be back where it matters, with the people that matter, living a life that matters.
